Peter Rouillard FACI

I have been an amateur film maker since 1966, first on 8mm film, then 16mm and latterly on video in various formats. I have won many awards for my productions throughout the world, including British international festivals. I was fortunate enough to have three of my films shown at London’s National Film Theatre.

Professionally, I worked for an advertising company for twelve years, during which time I helped to shoot and edit corporate videos and television commercials. I was an organiser of the Guernsey Lily International Film Festival, which ran for nineteen years and was considered to be one of the top two British festivals.

I joined the IAC in 1970 and was made a Fellow of the Film and Video Institute in 1982. My love of cinema goes back to my first visit to our local Odeon when I was about five years old and this passion for film will always remain with me.
